The reason I chose this recipe is very simple. Chicken is relatively cheap, low in fat, and high in protein. With any diet plan eating ample amounts of protein is very important for fat loss and aids in building muscle.
This recipe can be used for any type of chicken but we highly suggest breast only. The breast is very lean and provides approximately 25 grams of protein per 4 ounces. I love the flavor combination in this recipe with the garlic and the sweetness from the brown sugar.
If you are in a rush then cooking in a pan is fine, but if you have time grilling it will bring out the best flavors hands down. Either way, it will still taste great!
